The device is designed to be lightweight and can be powered by batteries, making it suitable for ceiling installation. When smoke is detected, the device triggers an acoustic signal, activates a flashing LED, and transmits pertinent information to the Z-Wave network.

In the event that the smoke sensor identifies a hazardous situation, it can initiate an alarm scenario. This scenario prompts an immediate alert to be sent to the user's mobile device, regardless of their location.

The device includes an integrated temperature sensor that can trigger the alarm when high temperatures are detected. This ensures that occupants are alerted even if a fire occurs without producing visible smoke.

A distinguishing feature of this equipment is its capacity to analyze data from previous events. This functionality enables the device to learn from past occurrences, aiding in the prevention of similar dangers in the future.
